In Remembrance of Me
The chapter
The chapter
On the Day of Atonement, described in Leviticus 16, the record of sins of the past year were erased and people started the new year free of sin.
Unleavened bread was used at the last supper. Here is proof from how the Bible itself defines the terms it used.
The Last Supper is interesting regarding the Feast of Unleavened Bread (Passover) timing. Was it just a rehearsal as some claim?
The showbread represented the very presence of God. It did not contain leaven which is symbolic of sin.
Passover bread is always unleavened. What did Jesus use at the Last Supper? If it was a Passover celebration, He must have used unleavened bread.
When is Passover? How does it fit in with the Feast of Unleavened Bread? A diagram is presented to help get the events in order.
When to observe the sabbath? Is it sunset to sunset or sunrise to sunrise or sunrise to sunset?
The Sabbath start time has recently become an issue. Here is more evidence that it is at sunset and that it includes the whole 24-hour period.
Sacrificial offerings had specific instructions as to when they could be eaten. How did that relate to the beginnning of the day?
Does the Hebrew calendar in its understanding of the 24-hour cycle use the words day, light, morning, and evening with multiple meanings?
Joseph of Arimathaea had a prominent role in the burial of Jesus when Jesus didn’t seem to have much support. Interestingly, the accounts shed some light on when the Sabbath starts.
When is Pentecost? The date of Pentecost is shown, from the Bible, to be always on a seventh-day Sabbath. This is consistent with the meaning of Pentecost also known as the feast of weeks.
The Mosaic law including the feast of unleavened bread, the feast of trumpets and the feast of tabernacles all pointed forward to future events. Do they still?
Patriarchs and Prophets has a statement supporting the Ten Commandments being given on Pentecost. This study resolves this with differing statements using Biblical evidence.
